While I didn’t particularly care for her other series the one that features a certain sparkly vampireStephenie Meyer certainly surprised me with The Host. Meyer’s writing has really improved over the course of her career and I feel like this book lw showed what she could do better than anything else she’s written.
They both make mistakes which makes them real. The fact that this story is completely possible in some distant future is what Hussped like the most though. This is the only way they can exist off their home planet and they have invaded and taken over many planets. Considering I’m not a big fan of books about aliens, the fact that I actually liked this one is a big deal!
Comienza a leer The Host: The love triangle in this story goes beyond anything I could have ever imagined.

Ian and Jamie would tie for my second favorite character in this novel, as they’re both important parts of Wanda’s story. The story is told from Wanderer’s point of view. If what I’ve said in my review isn’t enough to convince you to read the book, maybe the knowledge that I actually teared up while reading it will.
This is such a great story. Mis pedidos Localizar mis pedidos recientes. When the story changes you’ll know it when it happensyou won’t be able to put this one down. I highly recommend it to anyone stephfnie loves SciFi, romance, action and adventure because this story has it all.
Instead of filling this book ls physical action scenes, Meyer chose a slightly ,ibro route where she convinced readers to care about these characters and then presented us with a moral conflict that fits the context of their story.
The beginning of the book is a little slow, which is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Witnessing his transformation and watching his regard for Stephehie really grow as the story progressed made it easy to like him as much as Wanderer did.
If you’re unsure whether or not to give this book a try, let me be the first to suggest stwphenie give it a chance because you might just be surprised like I was.
I loved the characters especially the men Jared and Ian are both wonderful in their own way. I would love to see what happens next and enjoy another adventure with these wonderful characters.
Give this book a chance. Wanderer, or Wanda, as she’s known in the novel, is my favorite of the characters. Honestly, the book’s beginning was pretty rough.
It’s stepyenie important and I would never suggest to skip it but get through the first hundred pages. It’s more about the discovery of the true essence of being human. Don’t watch the movie, read this! It’s not just because I like her name, or how it symbolizes the meyed of who she is and the kind of person I’d like to be when it comes to travel.
The characters are compelling and you like almost all of them. I was that emotionally invested in Wanderer’s story, and Melanie’s too! Laa dinero con nosotros. I like the time the author takes to develop the human relationships with Wanderer which is at first hostile, violent and suspicious, but evolves with the help of Melanie’s uncle. I admit that I was rather confused the first time I read this story and the first part was kind of annoying, until she runs away and joins the humans and then things get really exciting and crazy and I loved it.

The story was cleverly told, weaving multiple plot lines together seamlessly. It’s because I adored her spirit. The sincerity of her choices kibro appealing, and easy to like, so it’s not surprising that I grew really attached to her.
Wanderer’s host is Melanie, a rebel female who stays present in Wanderer’s mind and eventually they work together. Jamie is the little brother of Melanie, Wanderer’s “host”.
This isn’t a flashy plot with guns blazing, but instead focuses on relationships, day to day existence, discovery, trust in both human and alien.
It took a few chapters before I felt invested enough to keep on turning the pages, but once it clicked, the feeling of needing to know what happened next stayed with me up until the end. Meyer caught me off guard with how good I found The Host. I was set to be disappointed by this one in the beginning but it’s one of my favorites now. About the prose and the story itself–compelling, marvelously written, gets you real emotional at times, makes you identify and sometimes scream out loud Sounds like “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” without the absence of emotion present with the aliens in that movie.
