Is the Seeking Arrangement App Safe to Use?
Anytime you have an app (especially a dating app) that revolves around attracting affluent and wealthy singles, you’re going to have some concerns about safety and security. And if you’re not having these concerns and you think the world is just roses and rainbows, we need to have a more serious talk later.
All jokes aside, asking if the Seeking Arrangement app is safe or not is an important question that shouldn’t be taken lightly. Here’s what our review uncovered. With Seeking’s rebrand recently, it looks like they rolled out a new section titled “Safety” specifically addressing what they do to keep users as safe as possible. It’s important to remember that there is always going to be some inherit risk in everything you do; it’s really just about which dating apps do the most to mitigate as much as possible.
Some of the things the Seeking app does include:
- Sophisticated bot detection software (they claim it’s the most sophisticated, which may be true but we can’t confirm)
- Proper usage of encryption through Transport Layer Security (TLS)
- Regular automatic scans of profiles to look for potential red flags in the language and the images
- Manual review processes in place for accounts that are flagged (by users or the automatic process)
- The ability for users to earn a background check badge
- A new partnership with URSafe, a third-party app you can use to keep yourself safe on dates through the use of GPS and check-in technology

So is the Seeking app safe? We think the company has proven they’re going above and beyond to make your experience as safe as they can. - For the money – For the ladies, it’s free so it’s absolutely worth it. For the men, it really depends on your financial status and your disposable income. The matches on Seeking are surprisingly quality…
If there is one question that is the absolute most important when it comes to a luxury dating website, it’s whether the quality of matches is good, great, bad, or terrible. Not only do you want to look at the quality on both sides of the aisle, but you need to know whether or not the profiles are active or from people that were on the site ages ago. In our Seeking Arrangement reviews, we made sure to get to the bottom of this.
To be honest, when we first created our account, we expected to see a lot of fake or incomplete profiles. Why? Well, a lot of the sites that are in this niche can be sub-par when it comes to policing this stuff. Thankfully, we were more than pleasantly surprised with what we saw during our reviews of Seeking Arrangement.
Quality Matches for Men and Women
First, they had A LOT of matches on both sides of the aisle. We took some time to flip through the profiles, and we found a lot of quality people with filled out profiles.
Seeking Arrangement also gives members the option of verifying their background so you can know that the person you are talking to is the actual person they say they are.
We saw these verification badges all over the place which was a huge plus. Additionally, if a member you’re interested in doesn’t have their verification completed, you can click a button to request them to do so.
The Women
We want to talk specifically to those that are successful men for a second. Ladies, plug your ears, please. Men, the girls on this site are HOTT. That is hot with two T’s. We expected the girls to be attractive in our searches, but frankly, we were pretty blown away by the quality. These girls seemed to be 8s, 9s, and even some 10s. There were some that were elsewhere along the spectrum, but beauty isn’t always about looks. Again, this is all based on our personal opinions and reviews, so you may want to check things out for yourself to see if you agree.
The part that was the most shocking, though, was that when we went to read their profiles, they seemed to be down to Earth. This is a combination you don’t expect to see a ton, but with SeekingArrangment, we saw it a lot. Here’s a sample:
Also, you may be worried that the site is rampant with prostitutes that aren’t looking for a real relationship. The good, well, great news is that Seeking Arrangement takes this very seriously and forbids any prostitutes from being on the site. From what we hear, they’re quite good about sniffing them out and getting them kicked off and banned immediately.
The Men
There were also a lot of affluent and professional men on the site looking to match with attractive members. Ladies, if you’re looking for somewhere that is packed full of men looking to take care of you, you’ve found your spot. While the reviewer for this site was a male, he found himself wishing he were a female to take advantage of some of the things these men were mentioning doing in their leisure and wanting to do with you.
As with any luxury dating site, you’re going to have some men that talk the talk but can’t walk the walk. That is one nice perk of the higher priced memberships, though,
How Active Are the Members on Seeking Arrangement?
So quality of matches was great during our Seeking Arrangement reviews, but were the matches current? The site has a great feature that allows you to see who is currently online and how long ago someone was last online.
We actually flipped through pages of members labeled as online and started to wonder if it was supposed to change colors when they were online (because it said so many were online). Then we finally got to a member that said they were online an hour ago.
What does this mean? This means there were A LOT of members actively online. We were more than impressed; we were blown away. The site was chalked full of high-quality matches on both sides of the fence that were active and current.
It’s hard to give Seeking Arrangement anything less than five stars on the review of the matches.
According to site data, over 40,000 pictures are uploaded and over 1 million messages exchanged on average every single day.
How easy is the site to use?
Seeking Arrangement takes a very simplistic approach to their site. They don’t have a ton of bells and whistles outside of easy to search matches, suggested matches, and profiles that you can sort through. This simplicity makes for an easy to use site that you’re not going to get lost in. Some online dating sites will go feature crazy and end up creating a site that is hard to stay focused on.
Here’s a sneak peek at your member dashboard. You’ll notice that we blurred out all of the photos (which we do in all of our reviews) because we want to respect the discretion and privacy of the site. When you log into Seeking Arrangement for your free trial, though, you’re going to see all of this not blurred out and specific to your area.
You’ll notice across the left hand side of the page, you’ll have a lot of different search options and filters you can use to find exactly what you’re looking for. Many of these are similar to what you’d find at a traditional dating site (like age, location, etc.), but you’ll also find quite a few filters and search parameters specific to the luxury dating niche. These include things like:
- Lifestyle seeking (True Love, Luxury Lifestyle, Discretion, Long-Term, Travel to You, etc.)

Vibes (New)
In late 2022, the Seeking Arrangement app released a feature called vibes. It’s basically their version of like a Facebook story or something similar. You create a short video or take a photo and it’s made public to other members for 24 hours and then disappears. For dating, this is another way to generate interest in yourself or to find someone that interests you.
When we looked at the vibes currently live on the Seeking app, we saw a random mix of sexy photos and videos, pictures of food, and short video clips of random stuff.
The Search Function
One thing we really liked about Seeking Arrangement was that they had a robust search function to help you find exactly what you’re looking for. While it’s fun to spend time looking through profiles and pictures, you’re really on here to find a match and the faster and more efficiently they can make that happen, the better.
Here’s a look at all of the different options you can use when making a search for a potential match:
Private Images
The site allows you to have albums with some hidden photos in them. You can grant access to these photos to certain members that you want to. This is a great way to tease a little bit and keep what you want secret until you’re ready to show it off. Men, we hope they don’t make you beg for the private photos, but we can’t promise anything.
Again, we are the ones who blurred these photos for discretion. When you log in to review things yourself, you’ll see everything unblurred.
Gift List (Wishlist)
Ladies, you’re able to put together a wish list of things and gifts that a potential match might be able to buy you. What’s even cooler about this feature is that they can purchase and ship you something along with their first message as a welcome gift. All of your private information is kept private, but the gift will still come to you from them.
Men, this is a great way to make a big splash and show you’re serious right off the bat. You can select to send a gift with your first message to let your girl know that you mean business and you aren’t a flake. This feature is a great way to set yourself out from the rest of the guys on the site and get to the front of the line.
Verification Options
One feature that we could have included in the safety and security section of our Seeking app review but decided to include here is the verification feature. Some dating sites have no verification processes, whereas some have one. But where Seeking certainly shines is that they have six different ways you can verify your account. While verification methods are not 100% impenetrable, they’re still super helpful and highly effective when implemented properly.
On Seeking, you have the option to verify through:
- ID verification
- Photo verification
- Instagram verification
- Background check
- Facebook verification
- LinkedIn verification
User Notes
So, if you’ve ever dated online before you know it can get pretty easy to get people confused, especially if you’re in the early stages of talking to a lot of people. There’s not much more awkward then saying something like “How was your college class today?” to someone who replies, “Ummm, I’m not in college. You must have me confused with someone else.”
To mitigate this, Seeking gives users the ability to keep private notes on other users (that they won’t see). This is a premium feature only, but a pretty neat one for people who don’t want to have to keep sifting through old conversations.
Customer support in under 24 hours
Regarding customer support, the site has an extensive FAQ section with answers to about every question we could think up. They do also have a support ticket function that states they will get back to you within about 24 hours max.
We would have liked to see some sort of phone support or live chat support, but we understand those are an industry standard and are only things we see occasionally. The FAQ section is extensive, though, and very well written with answers to the most popular questions you might have. Overall, we’d say good for customer support.
It’s not an inexpensive dating app by any means…
The pricing model for Seeking Arrangement is pretty similar to what you’re going to see at any online dating site or luxury dating site across the internet. It’s a subscription-based service without any other nickel and diming upgrades (like you do see at a lot of other sites that use credits or boosts).
Seeking used to have only one main membership type, but recently added a second tier known as Diamond. Memberships can be purchased in one-time blocks or as subscriptions. As it’s customary, the longer the term you sign up for, the lower the price per month is going to be.

Recently in 2020 (still active in 2022), Seeking Arrangement added the second membership type—the Diamond Membership. What does this get you? Well, for the most part, it’s just a way to draw more attention to your profile and “show that you’re serious.” More specifically, it gets your profile highlighted, gets you higher up in searches, and the site says it has proven to get people to respond faster to you.
The Free Trial

When you’re using your free trial, it allows you to search around the site and see all of the users, including their profiles and unblurred photos. Seeking Arrangement allows you to pay with any major credit card (VISA, Discover, AMEX, and Diners Club) as well as with PayPal if you are more comfortable with that or looking for something that is more discreet. While the cost is a bit higher than you would see from a traditional online dating site, you have to remember that this is not a traditional dating site. You’re either an affluent individual looking for the company of an attractive single, or you’re an attractive single who doesn’t want to mess around with people that are pretending to be successful and don’t have the means to supply what you’re looking for.
